OXON HILL, MD — The National Harbor announced Monday that it will open four new shops by the end of the summer. The businesses are:
BurgerFi
A casual restaurant selling hormone-free burgers2,714 square feet Opening this summer Roll by Goodyear
A tire service center1,616 square feetOpening in early spring Girlkin Lashes
A luxurious lash and brow salon 1,311 square feetOpening this spring MahoganyBooks
Bookstore specializing in the African diaspora1,408 square feetOpening by the end of the summer "We are delighted to welcome these new tenants," Vice President of Leasing Kimli Cross said in a press release. "Each of them will add significantly to our current portfolio and will further enrich the customer experience."
The National Harbor has 2,500 residents, 14 million annual visitors and 280,000 square feet of retail space. The Prince George's County hub mixes national stores like Build-A-Bear Workshop with successful startups like The Furlough Cheesecake.
"We know that National Harbor is a special place," Cross added. "There is nothing like it in the country."
The mixed-use area sits just across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. and Alexandria, Virginia. This location draws shoppers from around the metro region.
"National Harbor's Waterfront District has rapidly become a major destination and exceptionally desirable location for retail," Senior Leasing Representative Tony Summers said in the release.
