Experienced versatile guitarist seeking vocalist-bandmates

Hey folks, experienced versatile guitarist (mainly rock, blues-rock, Blues, some metal, country) looking to build a killer rock focused cover or original band around a singer in preparation for when everything opens up. I understand the scene well and have played on and off the Strip for eight years so know the agents, the venues, how to separate the b.s. from real. Know how to put a band together around a vocalist and work to everybody's strengths as a team. No drugs, b.s., no drama for me, I’m into cool people making music and being friends. My experience here in Vegas is two successful cover bands over eight years, one focused on Vinyl era classic rock 60’s and 70’s, the latest was variety of music including funk, country, and a lot more recent material in addition to older stuff. In Anchorage AK I put together and fronted a three piece blues band, in San Antonio, I wrote songs for and put together an original band. Also played in tribute band briefly here in town, have played Vamp'd. Have rehearsal room with drums and bass amp and all my guitar stuff…which is a lot. Semi-pro full time work at home day job, looking to play locally and keep my job, not try to take over the world or tour. Strong with rhythm, lead, slide, finger picking….improvising or playing things exactly with precision. Open to three different types of bands, depending on who I run into, and none of these plans has priority; 1.) Cover band focusing on rock including from 90’s / ‘Grunge” era which gets sold short a lot I think in cover bands 2.) Tribute band…would require a vocalist of course who looks and sounds like somebody from a famous band that everybody loves…never thought I’d do this, but I was part of a tribute for short while last year pre-Covid and we played some killer gigs, it can pay very well 3.) Originals band…..if somebody likes my songs and fits well, we could assemble an originals band. This is in many ways the toughest road but potentially rewarding. Send me what you’ve got if interested and a stable and reliable person who has been in Vegas for awhile and intends to be here for awhile....own our house here and have been in Vegas for eight years, hoping for that long term project!
