I just was thinking about all the changes going on in the world today but want to mention especially-BRIDGEPORT . .I am 78 years old as of the 22nd of the present month on a personal level my GOD how different my life has changed here since my birth in 1943.BRIDGEPORT has endured-so much change since 1943.I remember when growing up in the HOLLOW all neighbors knew each other.WE were a very different community unlike how we are now.I seemed to remember that people stuck together,helped each other.enjoyed friendships,played together,prayed together in the local churches.What happened to our society?WHAT changed our pattern on caring,sharing ,helping each other whenever something happened?WE have become a cloned society maybe because of COVID 19?WE need to get back to basics.WE need to get back to enjoying relationships.we need to be kind to each other as everyone knows death awaits-us more so now because of COVID 19.Sometimes kindness is the cure all not a bottled pill.Come on BRIDGEPORT lets return to the days when people respected each other and supported one another.WE can be a great city agaim.IT all starts out with each one of us realizing we need to be strong especially during this epidemic.GOD BLESS.
