OCEAN CITY, NJ — Principals and administrators in the Ocean City School District are paid higher than the median statewide salary, according to state data for the 2020-21 school year. After delays related to the coronavirus pandemic, the state released new information that shows how much every New Jersey school district budgeted to pay principals, superintendents and administrators in 2020-21. The median statewide administrator salary is $128,052, a 2.25 percent increase over 2019-20. The Ocean City School District pays principals and administrators a median salary of $131,600, which is the highest in Cape May County and the 186th highest in the state.
