I am offering tutoring for kids 4-10 years old or up to the 3rd grade in my home in Fountain; starting now till the end of Summer. M-F 8am-4/5pm. If you feel your child might need the extra help for next year it might be a option for you... I am offering 1-2 hour sessions per day M-F. Subjects: Pre-reading, Abcs, recognizing letters, Recognizing numbers, Sight words, Writing, Spelling, Math, language arts etc. I am willing to do extra activities such as Outdoor time, Art, Cooking, Spanish, sign language and Computers. We have a big back yard so lots of Outdoor run time, crafts, art easel, different types of Art. Sign language books and activities for that, and I have taken Spanish so I can do a intro into that... I love to cook and would love to show others that and much more. Email as to what you are needing or looking for. Payment: Will be cash upfront per each session. Time: You can do 1 session per week or 2 times a week for all Summer... Or if you want to do a few sessions and after that find someone else too that is fine as well... It's up to you how you would like to do your sessions. But my recommendation is at least 2 twice a week... If your child is really struggling, or more or less depending on your situation. It sounds like a lot of children are struggling right now reading from a lot of the mom groups I am on and talking to other moms.... About me: I am a mom of 2, one preschooler and a child in 5th grade soon to be 6th grade. I have worked in the Education field 19 years, and Tutored for several years up to the 3rd grade; From there teachers; they have said tutoring has helped. Cpr/First aid certified. A.A. in Child Dev. My goal is to help the children needing the extra help; for them to be successful in the next grade. If you have more than one child needing tutoring, I can tutor them both at the same time, for the same time slot; depending what they need help in or what activity. If you want more outdoor time for them and you want to have a child go over sight words, I can do at the same time; I can do that, or if you have twins and you want to go oversight words, they could do a group setting at the same time, but if you have a preschooler and a 3rd grader wanting to go over sight words and math; that may not work... Just email for more information.. And I can give you what I charge and arrange days/times etc. I do sanitize at my home, we will be washing hands and practicing good hygiene. NO SICK KIDS! Or if your household has been sick please don't bring them as we have all been healthy here... We do have cats and fish if any kids are allergic. Any questions please let me know
