Ace of Hearts is a non-profit rescue that saves dogs who are in danger of being euthanized at local shelters due to overcrowding. We believe in placing dogs in homes and not kennels, and we rely on a network of fosters to help us save lives! We desperately need your help by providing them with a loving home until they're adopted and we'll provide everything else - vet care, a bed, food, treats, toys, a leash, collar and we'll even pay you! We especially need fosters right now who can take in one of our dogs, Chardsy, who needs to be the only dog in the household. You will be working with our trainer as well as he has been working with him. American Bulldog mix, male, neutered, 6 years old. He is currently with our dog trainer. His commands are great! Loves affection! Loves playing fetch! Loves bones and food! He just needs a firm and loving handler. He has aggression issues with unknown people/animals but is great if you handle him correctly and follow the trainers instructions. Being accepted into our foster program is an extremely rewarding experience - you get to help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at the shelter, giving them a second chance to be adopted! What we need from you: -To be 21+ (if under 21, then to have parent approval) -To foster for at least 4 weeks - but if you can only do 2, we'll take that too! -You MUST feel comfortable with dog-aggressive dogs. If you have the experience, that is a HUGE PLUS!! -To have NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 OR CATS in your home (please do not inquire if you have children or cats) -To be able to start immediately -To have already discussed this with all landlords/managers/spouses etc. and have their approval If you have any questions, please reach out!
