Hello there! We are currently in the start-up phase and are seeking new board members to participate in all aspects of establishing and building our business. The Language Learning Cooperative, a worker-owned cooperative whose mission is to provide student-centered language lessons using communicative, cooperative, and collaborative methodology, as well as to create an equal and just environment for teachers and students, while becoming a leader in the language teaching industry. We will offer group and individual ESL, French, German and Spanish lessons to all ages and abilities. Board Member / Start-up Details: - currently unpaid positions - terms will last 2-3 years during start-up - not required to be worker-owners/members - teaching experience not required - potential for founder/start-up investment opportunity Our cooperative is based in Minneapolis and is seeking local candidates.
