Build your own Ceramic Vase! Can also be used as a planter or other container. Our instructor will guide you through the steps to make your very own vase out of clay. Using fundamental handbuilding techniques, you will be able to decorate it with stamps, sprigs, carving tools, etc in order to personalize it to your own unique style. Before you leave the class, you will be able to choose a glaze color and we will glaze and fire them for you. Pieces usually take about three weeks to go through the drying, firing, glazing process. This is a family-friendly event, though might be challenging for children under 8. Instructor: Caelin McDaniel 12 seats available per class, $45 per person Masks and social distancing are required at all times at ClaySpace. Please do not attend if you have recently traveled outside of the state, are feeling ill, have tested positive for covid, or have recently come in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid or is exhibiting covid-like symptoms. All surfaces and tools have been sanitized. Hand santizer will be available. Minimum 3 students per class or class will be cancelled/rescheduled at the discretion of Erie ClaySpace. In the event of class cancellation, funds will be fully refunded. Refunds available with proper notice. We are unable to give refunds for this class that are not requested at least 24 hours prior to class time.
