Hello, This is a long shot, but I am looking for someone who has a female Amazon (any species) and is interested in trading for a male DYH Amazon. I bought what I was told was a female Amazon as a friend for my male Amazon, but I’ve discovered through DNA testing that “she” is actually a male. This wouldn’t be a big problem, but my two males do not get along well at all and I’m worried that they may hurt each other. I am not planning on breeding, but I just want my bird to have a friend that he will get along with. He has been around female parrots before with no issues. So here are some details about the DYH amazon that I would like to trade: He is gorgeous, in perfect feather and was vet checked last December with a clean bill of health. I am not entirely sure of his age, but the vet estimated anywhere between 20-40 years old. He isn’t exactly tame, but he loves attention and talks a lot. He is not aggressive at all. I will only trade with someone who can provide a loving home- no backyard breeders or resellers... Please let me know if you have a female Amazon and are interested in trading. Thank you!
