LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Police Department released its latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports: Sarah Eftekhar, 46, of La Grange, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Thursday on charges of aggravated domestic battery (two counts) and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery.A man and a woman tried to steal several items from Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road, about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. They were ultimately only able to get away with one item, a Sharper Image auto vacuum valued at $20. The man was wearing a bright yellow coat, and the woman was wearing a pink coat and was about 35 to 45.A Taurus PT111 G2C 9 mm handgun was stolen from a house between Feb. 19 and Feb. 24 in the 700 block of Sixth Avenue. There was a party at the house Feb. 22, and it is believed the gun may have been taken at that time. The front windows of two houses were shot with a BB gun overnight Feb. 19 in the 200 block of South Leitch Avenue. The parking garage at 80 S. Sixth Avenue was marked with graffiti in two places, where the word "look" was written. The report was made Feb. 19. Police report information is provided by local police departments.
