Press release from the Town of Los Gatos: January 11, 2021 On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the Town Council will consider COVID-19 economic and community recovery initiatives. The Town seeks ideas and input from the community on this topic. The Town is committed to the overall vitality of Los Gatos. In addition to supporting local non-profits and its tenants, on June 2, 2020, the Town Council voted unanimously to support the business community by adopting an Economic Recovery Resolution that provides a variety of process streamlining, reduced fees, and other business opportunities to create a more flexible business environment in Los Gatos. On October 6, 2020, the Town Council approved a grant match program for businesses to provide platforms, ramps, or other essential items that allow their parklets to become accessible and meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Town looks forward to hearing from the community again on January 19.Written comments received before 11:00 a.m., Tuesday January 19, 2021, will be forwarded to the Town Council. The public is also encouraged to attend the January 19, 2021 Town Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. via teleconference to provide comments.Meeting agendas are posted and publicly distributed no later than the Thursday prior to each meeting date.
