Join us April 24th for a 5K fun run and great local beer at Georgia Beer Co! We are the Georgia Brewery Running Series! Join us at Georgia Beer Co on April 24th for a 5K run that starts and ends at this awesome Valdosta taproom. Make your way through the course at whatever pace you'd like and there'll be a refreshing craft beer waiting for you at the finish line. Enjoy post-run festivities with your favorite local food trucks, axe throwing, raffle, photobooth and more! Registration includes: FREE craft brew from Georgia Beer Co Brewery Running Series swag(2) raffle tickets for a chance to win awesome prizes live music, muscle work sessions and giveawaysWe're all about being active, having fun and giving back to our community. The US Brewery Running Series was founded in Minnesota in 2012 and since our inaugural event, we have been able to donate over $200,000 back to local nonprofits. So not only will you have a great time, get some exercise and enjoy a great beer; you'll be supporting local and contributing to our community! All levels of walkers, runners and joggers are welcome including those with baby strollers and dogs.This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.We create each route to start and end at the brewery to highlight the surrounding neighborhood. The course will be marked with arrows to help keep you on course. You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. (Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage)Our events are rain or shine. If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out, drink beer and enjoy the brewery.There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.There is public parking available however, if public transit or uber is an option for you, we always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers. Safety is our top priority. We will be abiding by all COVID-19 safety guidelines as outlined by the CDC and our local department of health, including but not limited to: Masks required at the taproom at all times, unless otherwise noted Participants to respect social distancing and allow 6' between themselves and anyone else on the courseReduced contact practices for check-in and throughout the eventAdditional precautions as it may apply to this particular locationWe understand these details may vary and are always subject to change.
