Join us for the grand opening of Naples' new gallery, Amy Art, March 12 & 13, 4-6:30 p.m., in the Naples Design District.
Join Naples artist Amy Moglia Heuerman to celebrate the opening of Amy Art, a studio and gallery in the Naples Design District, at 28 10th Street South, March 12 & 13, 4 to 6:30 p.m. Amy Art is Heuerman's first studio and gallery located in Naples; she also maintains a studio and gallery in Bay Harbor, Mich. The Naples space features her richly layered abstracts, dominated by a palette of blues in infinite hues. The coastal views, abstracts and figurative paintings on display are noted for their serenity and joy. Amy Art offers an elegant, lounge-like setting for art lovers to view Heuerman's paintings. The space also includes her working studio. Amy Art will be open in the afternoons on most days, with flexible hours, and by appointment.
Artist StatementMy intention as an artist is to evoke joy and serenity through a full spectrum of blue hues. Blue is peaceful, calm, and encourages an open mind. My lifelong love for sea and sky translates into abstracts with promising horizons. I work toward achieving the sweeping motion of clouds and tides through textured layering with tools ranging from brushes to palette knives to sponges to wallpaper scrapers and other hardware tools. My process evolves to reveal my state of being that I hope will uplift viewers. I paint in Naples, Florida, in my studio and showroom near the Gulf of Mexico, and in Bay Harbor, Michigan, near Lake Michigan, where I also maintain a gallery and studio.
