X-Port Paws is hosting The Lisa Bowman Triples Tennis Tournament. All proceeds will go towards rescuing dogs on the X list to be destroyed. X-Port Paws, Inc. endeavors to pull dogs off the kill list (indicated by an X) who are deemed too old, too sick, too Pittie, too black, or too much to handle and transport them to safety. XPP leaves no dog behind (and has even rescued cats!). While our mission is primarily to rescue those animals with little to no chance of surviving the system, we will never turn our backs on any dog in need. XPP will host a Triples Tennis Tournament at the Wellington Tennis Center to raise money for its cause. We hope to sign up 126 players. The tournament is held in the memory of our dear friend Lisa Bowman, who was an animal advocate, amazing teammate, cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend. It is in her memory that XPP works to get them all #thruthefrontdoor. The entry fee for the tournament is $50. After taking out the necessary expenses, all proceeds will go to the rescue. For those who aren’t able to attend, or for those who don’t play tennis but want to help XPP, donations are always greatly appreciated! There will be three levels of competition, with prizes at each level. Dinner, music, dessert and fun will be in abundance. Covid protocols, social distancing strictly enforced. Please come!
