Position Title – Animal Research Manager Position Description – Swine Services Unlimited Inc. is a progressive swine research company looking to hire a motivated and skilled research manager capable of managing research sites and animal technicians. Duties include: • Meetings with the owners to review current and upcoming trials. • Daily oversight of the research sites, which includes making sure the animals have feed, water, their environment is adequate, relevant paperwork is done and all equipment is functioning. • Working with the owners and other employees to get other tasks completed. Skills – Previous animal experience, basic mechanical skills, basic computer skills, able to lift 50 pounds, self-motivated and the ability to work independently, as well as with others. Must be able to work every third weekend and have flexible work schedule. Compensation – Salary $45,000 per year, health insurance, profit sharing retirement plan after 1 year, production bonuses, health savings account, company vehicle to get to and from the research sites.
