Nutmeg is hiring line cooks! We are open 7:30-2:30.
WE ARE LOCATED AT: 10755 Scripps Poway Parkway (please consider this before applying)
Shifts usually run from 7:00am - 3:00pm.
This position requires the following:
- Ability to cook eggs to all temperatures (poached, over easy, basted, etc.)
- Good knife skills
- Ability to work positively with other cooks (seasoning, tasting, adjusting items as necessary)
- Ability to follow recipes (this includes all of our aiolis, dressings, batters)
- Ability to create specials based on seasonal ingredients
- Knowledge of various meat cookery techniques (braising, grilling, roasting)
We are open weekends and holidays. (Closed christmas day, new years day and a couple of others)
This position is for someone with at least 2 years professional kitchen experience. Please, no students.

- Usar cuchillo para cortar verdura typica de una cocina con todo hecho por mano (cebolla, zahnoria, apio)
- Leer los tickets y los modificaciones de los ordenes
- Organizar su linea y hacer todo su propio preparacion.
