*****PLEASE ANSWER THE 8 QUESTIONS BELOW. If you don't answer them, we'll move on.***** About Us: We are a 5-star rated Wedding/Event Video Company looking to hire someone for this year's events. This is our busiest year ever in our 14 year history. Partly because we are the #1 live streaming event company in Southern California. We need both a second camera operator (ideally with wedding experience) as well as a Technical Director (TD) who will run the video and audio mixes of the multi-camera live streams (no experience necessary) for our events (mostly weddings). *** This job is mostly on the weekends but some weekdays and not every single week. Some weeks we have 2-3 events and some weeks we have none. *****PLEASE ANSWER THE 8 QUESTIONS BELOW. If you don't answer them, we'll move on.***** (sorry for putting this twice, but you'd be surprised how many people don't read these things and just send us a resume which we don't need) 1) Let us know of any camera experience (video) using Sony cameras and what cameras you've used/own. If you don't use Sony, let us know what you use (camera/lens). We WON'T need to use your gear. We have everything. 2) Do you have ANY wedding experience (if so, can you share a link to ANY of your work)? 3) Are you okay with travelling all over SoCal (from San Diego to LA mostly)? 4) Any pic of yourself and email address would be helpful. We'll likely meet up with our final choices at an outdoor public place like Starbucks to make sure it's all a good fit. 5) Are you okay working outdoors in a mask for a few hours during these events? Masks are required. 6) Please confirm that you are okay with the rate listed below as that will be the rate through 2021. 7) Let us know your "general availability" for weekends and also for weekdays from March thru August. 8) Are you okay working either available job? RATE: Second shooter (ideally with Sony experience) - $200* flat rate for 4 hours - Anything beyond 4hrs will be at a $40/hr rate. Technical Director (running the audio/video switch of the multicamera live streams) - $150* flat rate for 3 hours - $40/hr after that. * We also pay mileage at the following rate: $0.56/mi (2021 rate) for every mile to a venue beyond 30 miles, one way from your home. In other words, if you live 50 miles away from a venue, you'll get the rate above plus 20 miles of travel (50-30 = 20) (20 x $0.56 = $11.20)
