Amazon Says NO to Increasing Wages

Back in January the minimum wage in CA increased to $14 an hour. Amazon warehouses are popping up everywhere which is fine. But workers have not gotten a raise since 2018, still making $15 an hour with little to no benefits because most of the jobs are part time which is why they make such a massive profit. And last year they nearly doubled their profits from 2019 !!! But instead of increasing wages, Amazon has told employees they must work twice as fast and double their productivity or risk being terminated. Amazon says because the CA unemployment rate has doubled, workers are desperate so they have decided to take full advantage. Just another example the sickening greed spreading throughout our country faster and much worse than the covid virus.
