I am hiring for specific roles in my local superfood business. It's currently an e-commerce operation and will soon have a brick-and-mortar cafe as well.
I operate in a commercial kitchen in NW PDX/Pearl District. The brick and mortar location is TBD but could be near NE PDX.
I currently need help with:
• Food packing (measuring nonperishable/raw foods and sealing in packages)
• Order fulfillment (preparing packages to mail via Shopify, Etsy, etc)
*Starting compensation for these roles: $15-17 per hour
*On an as-needed/gig basis
Contract basis:
• Interior design (for the potential brick-and-mortar)
*Compensation by project TBD
Soon I'll need a:
• Cafe manager (to help run operations at the brick-and-mortar)
*Starting compensation: $18-20 per hour
*Part-time
Relevant experience and a food handler card required. So are ATTENTION TO DETAIL, self-reliance, adaptability, good verbal and written communication, a good attitude, and ability to work in teams with consideration for the well-being of others.
You might also often be working on your own and must be able to solve problems on the fly, even if that means calling me for help.
Must be willing to work with a mask on and regularly report on health/COVID status.
Experience with raw foods, superfoods, chocolate and/or cacao a plus. Experience in a rapidly changing start-up business is also a plus but not required. Having your own laptop is a plus but not required.
