Press release from the Syracuse City School District: SCSD Seeks Comment on Public Health Emergency Protocols Published on 2/25/21 In accordance with New York Education Law § 2801-a(2)(m) and New York Labor Law § 27-c, the Syracuse City School District has drafted Public Health Emergency Communicable Disease Protocols to guide District employees and the community in preparation for and in response to a declared public health emergency involving a communicable disease. The protocols were presented to the SCSD Board of Education on February 24, 2021 and are open for public review and comment through March 26, 2021.
