I provide childcare for a small bubble of families. We have the ability to open the group to one more family. My wife and I are both vaccinated from Covid-19 as are many of the parents in the group. We practice good social distancing, hand washing, and hygiene habits and keep folks healthy. I am a mom of a 4.5 year old. I have been doing my part as the caregiver in our bubble since she was 4 months old. I have an extensive background in child development and have been doing child care for over 20 years. I am ideally looking for a family with a child 6 weeks to 5 years old. We have decided to open our home to one additional family because we believe we have enough precautions in place that it will not expose our group to an increased risk of developing Covid-19. All that said, I am pretty down to earth. I love staying home with my kiddo and we chose this path with great purpose. As a professional in the child care industry, I have worked in some of the US's leading child care centers. I saw first hand the diminished amount of time a child spends interacting and bonding with adults. My philosophy of child development is based substantially in attachment based care. I provide excellent care where children feel loved, included, and safe through routines, humor, and closeness. If you are looking for someone to care for you baby like you would, I think we should talk. I'm looking for the right family. The right family is a good fit for my family and yours. I'm pretty flexible about plenty of things we can work out rates, food preferences such as formula or breast milk, or diapers. I like to provide an environment where kids feel like the can predict the routines and the routines flow with their natural rhythms. I serve primarily vegan foods with dairy alternatives for parents who prefer dairy. My toys are open ended and meant for creative play. We sing, read books, tell stories, pretend, and explore throughout the day. Ideally we are looking for a family who needs care 4 or 5 days a week.
