Description

Hi, I'm a mom. I have a 4.5 year old. I've been staying home with her for the past 4 years. I care for a few other children around her age and we are looking for someone who would like to join our learning pod. My care is play based and open ended. I practice attachment based care. Our pod is pretty close and feel almost like family. We are ready to open up to a new family. I know in these times of uncertainty in the pandemic, knowing that your baby is safe and well cared for is just one more thing off your mind. Parents in our group love being part of it and feel as though their children are well cared for and encouraged toward positive growth and development. Our family style pod feels like an extension of home to the children who join us. I serve mostly vegan foods but will supplement with dairy and egg products if parents prefer. Meals are well balanced and snacks include fresh fruits or vegetables. I want my daughter to get the best start in life. Since I am able, and have more than 15 years of child care experience, I would like to share my skills and give your child their best start too. We are looking for the right family to join us. Full-time 4 or 5 days a week is preferred. However, the right family is really what we are looking for. So, reach out if you are thinking of part time- you might just be the right fit for us anyhow. Let's negotiate a fair rate that works with your families budget and meets my families budget needs as well. I am curious to meet our newest family in the pod. Covid-19 info: My wife and I are both vaccinated. About half of the parents in the pod are currently vaccinated. The rest intend to when they are eligible. We are continuing to practice social distancing and avoiding contact with non-family members or pod families unless necessary. Kids practice frequent hand washing and our home is kept very clean. Anyone showing any signs of fever or illness self-quarantine until they are symptom free for 24 hours or more. We acknowledge the associated risk of introducing a new family into the pod and will ask that they practice a few heightened hygiene and protection steps such as drop offs at the door with masks for 2 weeks. We hope that this puts your mind to ease as much as it does ours.
