Fitness Equipment Handler, Assembly & Delivery

We are Tidy Haus, and we are seeking to hire someone to receive, assemble and deliver fitness equipment in San Diego and surrounding areas. Based out of Los Angeles, Tidy Haus provides concierge handling & specialty handyman services to businesses, residential and retail establishments in many states across the country. We strive to build a loyal team of field and technical service contractors, ranging in skills from organizing to assembly and installations. Specifically, Tidy Haus has partnerships with high-end fitness equipment makers and other assembly-product companies, whereby our objective is to provide exceptional handling & delivery experience for the end user. We seek a dependable person with a lockable garage/storage, a dependable, larger-sized vehicle and assembly skills who wants to have an ongoing side-job. These are "White Glove" deliveries so our team member needs to be able to greet our clients professionally and use the job management tool effectively. Here's the typical job flow: - You'll receive product boxes a week in advance of the planned deliveries (usually 3 boxes per unit) - You'll be required to temporarily store boxes & assembled unit in a secure facility (10x20' space, ideally) - You'll assemble the products (for example, fitness rowing machines) which take about 35 minutes - You'll confirm that the products work (a simple 2 minute test) - You'll take photos of the units as proof of quality - You'll let us know when they have been tested - We'll schedule deliveries and let you know where they go - You'll use a simple smartphone-based app to track build & delivery status, photos, signatures and completion - Repeat for each delivery There are often 2-10 deliveries a week, with earning potential approaching $1k per week. We pay out every Saturday for the week's work; all work done as 1099 contractors. REQUIREMENTS: - Excellent communication skills - CLEAN & reliable transportation, Pick-up Truck or large SUV - CLEAN professional appearance and work clothes - Assembly skills (IKEA, home fitness equipment, etc.) - Ability to effectively use a web-based application to document each job. - VENMO/ PAYPAL/ ZELLE account for payments - Basic tools ( hammer, drill, screwdrivers, measuring devices) - Ability to complete a Background check - Flexible availability If you think you would be a great fit for our growing company, please fill out the easy 3-minute online application.
