Handyman & General-services Field Technician Needed

We are Tidy Haus, and we are seeking to contract-hire a capable handyman & general-services field technician, serving the San Diego and surrounding areas. Tidy Haus has partnerships with logistics companies to provide handyman, assembly, delivery and other installation/repair services. Thus we are looking for professional and skilled team members in the area for periodic projects. Please note: This is somewhat of an “On-Call” contracted opportunity (typically 48 hours notice). Requires flexible availability on weekdays. Typical duties (vary per job): - Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch - Un-crating (fine art/ furniture) - Heavy lifting (100lbs) - Mounting/ Installing (TVs/ art/ mirrors/ security equipment) - Assembling (fitness equipment/ furniture) - Hanging/ Removing signs - Basic repairing (rails/ shelves/ drywall/ wood finishing) - Taking photos of work & completion signatures (via smartphone app) - Debris removal, etc. Requirements: Excellent communication skills Clean appearance and work attire ( boots, CLEAN clothing without tears or rips) Basic tools ( hammer, drill, screwdrivers, measuring devices) Reliable transportation Background check Venmo/ Paypal/ Zelle account for payments (paid out every Saturday) Ability to comply with all local, State and CDC PPE protocols, regarding covid-19. Flexible availability There are often 2-10 service tasks/jobs per week, with earning potential (DOE) approaching $1k per week.
