Farber Swim School is a growing family owned business dedicated to providing a small family feel in all their customer interactions. We have just celebrated 9 years in business and our swim programs are growing faster than ever! Because we're keeping so busy we are looking to add a Facility Maintenance & Pool Maintenance technician to our staff (or as a contract employee).
This position will take place at our facility in Beaverton on Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. as well as our 2nd location at the PDX Sportscenter in SW Portland.
Things to know:
* 3, indoor, 90 degree, salt water pools at 2 different locations
* Schedule and hours are flexible
* Training is paid
Qualifications:
* Previous maintenance experience
* Pool knowledge huge plus
* Flexible/easy going
* Friendly w/ staff & customers (we have 750 swimmers through our programs each week)
* Great communicator (phones/texts/emails)
Basic duties include:
* Driving to pick up pool supplies
* Clean pools
* Test and adjust water chemistry
* Check equipment
* Document data
* Lifting up to 50 lbs., on rare occasions 100 lbs.
* Facility repair projects
Pre-employment requirements:
* Candidate must provide copy of current driving record
* Background check will be ran before employment is official
