San Jose -you really are a man of semantics aren’t you? That is some very creative logic that you are applying to Biden’s victory. Here are a few bonafide facts that indicate to me that you are wrong about Biden’s popularity: Biden won by 7 million votes. This indicates that millions of registered republicans crossed party lines. Conservatives almost never jump ship. But they did in this election. Biden’s job approval rating is between 54% and 64% depending on the poll. This would indicate that more than half (the majority of americans polled) are in support of Biden. Trump was never able to reach even 50% approval in 4 years in ANY poll. Not even the polls that pander to the right. In the current political atmosphere, Biden achieving even a 50% approval rating to start his term would be somewhat amazing and he is above that. Time will tell, but I assume Biden’s approval rating will climb steadily from here. As the sting of the election wears off, people will start to notice the positive things Biden is doing for our nation. I am a perfect example. I was never a Biden fan even though I was a huge Obama supporter. I was less than enthused when Biden won the nomination. My enthusiasm began to build for Biden during the campaign but feared that he was all talk and little action. Since being elected and inaugurated Biden has proven that he is a man of action. You may or may not agree with his actions but you must admit, he is getting stuff done. Thus far, even as a moderate and independent voter, i am in favor with nearly everything the Joe Biden has accomplished. A cherry on the top of the Biden presidency is him launching the attacks on Iran in Syria. i m not a fan of war or violence, but we need a leader who is willing to protect our troops. I love that Biden is hearing the majority on nearly every issue and working to please the masses. Biden is not concerned with party facilitation. He is interested in pleasing the majority of citizens. This is a great strategy. Any president should lead in a way that represents the majority. Trump never tried to do that.
