Condominium Association seeking to fill two (2) janitorial positions at a high rise building in the River North neighborhood. These are Local 1 union positions. Hourly wage will be above union scale with previous high rise condo experience and existing Class "C" Helper training certificate. Position 1 - Tuesday through Saturday; 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Position 2 - Tuesday through Saturday; 3:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. These positions perform general cleaning of common areas and special assignments. Other essential functions are as follows: • Uses cleaning chemicals safely and properly • Removes garbage from common areas • Informs supervisors and Management of any issues concerning residents • Attends all required training and staff meetings • Maintains a clean and safe working environment • Sets up meeting rooms and for special events • Operates cleaning and snow removal equipment • Performs light maintenance duties and work orders • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor • Adheres to all Association and management company policies and procedures • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications include: • High school diploma • Pass a drug test and background check • Provide 2-3 business references from previous supervisors • Ability to lift up to 80#, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout shift both indoors and outdoors • Ability to multi-task and adapt with ease to changing priorities • Solid communication and computer skills including ability to email, scan, print • Good vision and hearing • Professional image and demeanor • Detail oriented • Computer skills required Please submit COMPLETE work history or resume for consideration, along with any applicable certificates or licenses.
