We currently have an opportunity available for a Transportation Coordinator in Denver, CO. Position Overview: To work with Shaw drivers to coordinate outbound loads, and to work with carriers to arrange deliveries of inbound loads. Essential Duties:: * Organize orders for shipments to customers. * Work with Shaw drivers to plan out loads. * Process driver logs to ensure accuracy and record information * Total and file bill of lading manifest. * Maintain reports that show the progress of the transportation fleet. * Maintain accurate and up to date D.O.T. files and company required files. * Maintain an understanding of all state, local, and federal D.O.T. and I.E.C. requirements and how they affect the traffic department. * Process returns in a timely manner. * Assist shipping clerk when necessary. Non-Essential Duties: * Back-up other positions when needed, such as Truck Driver, LTO, Shipping Clerk, and Spotter. * Tracking shipment activity. * Updating customer service regarding inbound and outbound shipments using the trip screen. * Research lost shipments, missed shipments, and proof of delivery. * Perform tasks as determined by the Operations Manager.
