Description

44 yr. old songwriter looking for other interested pickers and strummers. I've been a punk, metal, or shoegaze musician for 20+ years. I play in a heavy instrumental band. That being said, I play an acoustic guitar all day long. I write (sometimes multiple) songs everyday. Most I forget, or lose interest. Sometimes i just sit around and strum old cover tunes for fun. I really want someone to strum and sing some harmonies with. My musical taste is all over the place, and I won't bother trying to to justify that claim. However, I will list a bunch of my favorite influences, and if they resonate- then perhaps you'll consider reaching out. All jams would have to be covid-safe and outdoors for now. I am happy to host, or travel a bit- whatever works for all. If you've been itchin' to belt a few tunes out, and any of these bands have influenced YOU, then let's create something fun together. HUM, Failure, Hot Water Music, Small Brown Bike, YOB, Baroness, Jawbreaker, Jawbox, Sleep, Om, Zeke, Alabama, Scott H Biram, John K Samson, The Weakerthans, Propagandhi, Alkaline Trio, The Smoking Popes, Black Sabbath, Jimbo Mathus, Lagwagon, Agent Orange, NOFX, Built To Spill, Neil Young, Pavement, Khemmis, Charlie Patton, Acid Bath, Pallbearer, Castor, Swervedriver, Melvins, Nirvana, Shiner, Final Conflict, Austin Lucas, Chuck Ragan, Chris Wollard and the Ship Thieves, RVIVR, Clutch, Pelican, Russian Circles, True Widow, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, King Buffalo, Mountain, Rumbleseat, No Use For A Name, Millencolin, Diabase, Duster, Hank III, The Reverend Horton Heat, Hillbilly Hellcats, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Descendents, Mogwai, Kyuss, UN, Motorhead, Speedwolf, Elder, The Halo Benders, any old country (over 25 years old), Mississippi Delta Blues, or any number of a thousand other artists in between...
