Do you love large metal public art sculptures? Do custom made gates and handrails on a spiral staircase thrill you? Then maybe you should try ornamental welding!! Our own artist-in-residence Ann Gildner is teaching a six-week course in ornamental welding. It will include an introduction to metal work for students with limited knowledge of welding. The course will focus on plasma cutting, GMAW (MIG) welding, forming and fabrication of linear stock, steel and “found” (recycled) metal projects. It's so fun!
