Well-established contracting company looking for experienced skilled laborer. Position description Laborer is an entry level position. Must be hard working and willing to get dirty. Tools needed: - Hammer - Tape measure - Pry bar Skills needed - very basic knowledge of construction Lev 1 $18-19 - Can follow very simple instructions - Can pick up trash - Can sweep the floor - Can lift materials up to 80 lb Lev 2 $20-21 - Can use a hammer and tape measure and pry bar - Can make very simple cuts with a circular saw. Like cut up trash or cut a 2x4 24” long. - Knowledge of how to access a roof - Able to take apart mechanic things to get them out of the way. (Ex. remove a light fixture) - Able to take responsibility to clean up job site without direct over-site - Can clean gutters - Can drive a truck Responsibilities: Clean up job site Clean up trucks Assist foreman and mechanics Follow instructions of Forman and mechanics
