Field Installation Supervisor: The individual should demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to be forward thinking, a great team player and the willingness to pursue excellence.This position is responsible for managing the installers and troubleshooting problems. Duties /Responsibilities Visit to job site in order to assist with installation labor on the more complex jobs. Pre-install job site assessments to be sure the site is ready for installation. Day of Installation -- Review all details of each order with the installation crew, to include drawings and job site review. Final walk through -- “Punch list” with client and immediate follow thru with installer to resolve issues toward job completion. Occasionally be required to use their installation skills to resolve installation or repair issues when there are no other options available Job Description.- Plans, administrates, and supervises installations and the installation team under him to assure that agreement and principles of the company are met for that project. Communicates with customers, office, and sub-contractors from start to finish of project. Works in field alongside of installation crew. Monitoring the install team and ensuring that the company’s responsibilities are met per proposal and job is being completed as efficiently as possible. Traveling in and out of state requiring overnight stays for duration of project. Usually a Monday thru Friday stay. Providing the installers team with daily inputs and creative suggestions regarding the installation methods and procedures.Working in field along with installations crew, requiring strong knowledge of hand tools, comfortable working on ladder, and heavy lifting. Communicating with customers to assure all change orders, schedule, job site conditions, and expectations are met. Work in a busy and fast environment. Assuring the installation crews are following safety procedures and all labor laws are met. Directing, handling and overseeing the team on a daily basis.Recruit and train new install crew members.
