We are looking for full-time or part-time members to join our crew. We are an established family-owned company that designs, builds, and services piers around the Lake Country area. We offer a relaxed work environment with a small group of guys that work together to craft the best piers in the area. What to expect: No day is the same as a Pier Carpenter, one day you might be doing depth measurements on our barge and the next you might be building structural components. 60% of this job consists of carpentry work, while the remaining 40% will be devoted to installing and removing the piers we have built for our customers. Essential Duties: * Operate a variety of power tools such as table saws, circular saws, drills, etc. * Utilize a tape measure to cut wood to specified dimensions * Interpret instructions and specifications to construct structural components for piers * Receive general instructions verbally or in writing from supervisor/lead * Apply paint and primer to select pier components using brush and rollers Requirements: * Eagerness to learn and improve * Punctual and reliable * Positive attitude * Ability to lift up to 65 pounds * Carpentry experience is a HUGE plus, but willing to teach the right candidate Pay will range from $20.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on experience.
