Our well-established energy efficiency company services the DFW metroplex and we are looking for an honest, dependable individual to join our team of technicians. Our company is looking for an experienced service technician. We are adding another crew to our team as our current crews are overbooked. We are looking for that person that can learn proper install techniques. A mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools is helpful. You are not required to provide your own tools. A company van/truck is provided. Must possess a good driving record, have reliable transportation, be an effective communicator, and have effective time management skills. Must be available to work Monday thru Saturday. Your duties will include: Installing and blowing in fiberglass insulation in attics, sealing duct work/HVAC, replacement of air ducts, radiant barrier, rerouting bathroom and dryer vents, installing ventilation such as wind turbines and soffits, as well as weather stripping. When not doing insulation your duties will include: performing duct cleanings and dryer vent cleanings. YOU MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED -Start immediately -Must have a Valid Texas Driver's License (no exceptions!!!!) -Social Security Number Required - Clean Driving Record - Pass a background check - Be able to work on roofs, from tall ladders, and maneuver through tight attics - Live close enough to depart from the office with enough time to arrive on time to your first appointment - Have previous insulation and radiant barrier experience is a PLUS - Submit a resume -Speak Fluent English (Bilingual-Spanish Speaking a plus) -Neat appearance, emphasis on hygiene, no head or neck tattoos -Drug-free -No tobacco use Characteristics of our ideal candidate include: -Must be able to withstand long work days which include most hours in hot attics -Must be hard-working -Must be willing to work late at a job if necessary -Must be reliable -Self-motivated We provide the truck, fuel, equipment, and jobs. Job Duties Required: -Must pick up all materials for each job -Loading and unloading insulation materials -Cut sections of Batt insulation to the proper fit, install in walls, ceilings, and floors, as required -Load blower machine with fiberglass -Blow to appropriate depth/density -Use common hand tools such as knives, scissors, saws, and staple guns -Properly maintain equipment and tools -Follow safety guidelines and procedures -Ensure clean job site -Other duties as assigned -Full-time position Mon-Sat -Must be able to work overtime as required -Must be able to lift 40 pounds -Must be on time for every job Please email your resume or work history for review and consideration.
