Volunteer Research Group in Knoxville, TN. is currently seeking volunteers ages 21 - 60 for an inpatient clinical research study testing an e cigarette product compared to your usual brand of cigarettes. Participants must be willing to complete 1 screening visit and once qualified check-in for 7 days/6nights to complete the study. This is a quick turn-around and there are no return visits. Compensation of $2,100 is available for time and travel. We are scheduling screenings NOW! To participate you must: Be generally healthy (please call about medications and conditions) Be ages: 21-60 There is no BMI (Body Mass Index) requirement, must weigh at least 110 pounds or more Have a positive urine nicotine test (nicotine in your system) Be able to pass a urine drug screen test Smoke at least 10 cigarettes per day for the past 6 months or more Have no history of Hepatitis B, C, HIV, or Cancer Have no treatment in the last 12 months asthma, pulmonary emphysema, or COPD Have no history of Diabetes Have no history of bleeding or clotting disorders or taking a blood thinner prescription (can be taking Aspirin just less than 325 mg per day) Please call for additional inclusion/exclusion details Schedule your appointment today, limited spots remain! 865-305-3784 VRG is located inside the UT Medical Center.
