If you are looking for a chance to learn, grow, and establish a rewarding career… Come join our dynamic team We are looking for a Loader and Equipment Operator in our Artois facility Operates Bucket Loader and other Power Equipment to support Milling Operations and Facility Maintenance Team as necessary. Manages Composting operations including any logging and tracking of materials moved on and off-site. Essential Functions • Operating Loader Equipment for olive pomace removal, ground grading, olive pomace or other by-product from Milling Operations transportation. • Small engine equipment operation and basic maintenance including refueling, filter changes and troubleshooting in case of repair. • Composting materials management and tracking. • Cleaning as assigned including use of cleaning chemicals and power washing equipment. • Use of hand tools and implements for labor as required for job specific tasks. • Driving company vehicles in order to transport goods and/or services. • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills • Operation of heavy equipment to include but not limited to: back-hoe, forklift, boom lift, man lift, front end loader, tractor, vehicle towing. • Basic use of hand and power tools. • Basic machinery operations including, motors, pulleys, belts, pumps, valves, piping, hoses, fittings • Manage Wastewater logging and tracking. • Manage Load Tickets for materials moved off-site. • Ability to read and understand company policies and procedures and implement appropriately. Qualifications • Loader Operator and Heavy Equipment experience is preferred • Ability to work varying hours, some weekends, and varying schedules • Valid California Driver’s License Working Conditions This position will be working in various indoor and outdoor environments including in inclement weather. Proper PPE and weather appropriate attire should be worn. This position may work in extreme heat and sunshine or wet and cold dependent on the weather.
