AUDITION – SEEKING SPECTACULAR MUSICIANS 4-10-21 Date: Saturday April 10th 2021 Location: SMASH STUDIOS Address: 307 West 36th Street (Between 8th and 9th Avenues) – 18th Floor – New York, NY We are hosting an audition for the following instrumentalists: -Pianists -Electric Bassists -Tenor Saxophonists -Trumpeters -Flugelhornist -Bass Clarinetists Once we have the right musicians that we need, will go right into scheduling rehearsals in preparation for many avenues of performance. If you are a creative, passionate, and versatile artist; and are eager to perform with other like-minded musicians, please do reach out. This project will consist of recording/performing original instrumental compositions, as well as rearranging and performing fantastic covers. The finalized product we will achieve will be an extremely virtuosic/versatile band. Depending on the venue you will be performing at, you can expect to play a variety of different sets of great music on different occasions, such as: - Various Original Compositions - Jazz, Funk, and Fusion Standards - R&B and Soul Covers/Originals - Tasteful, Rearranged Pop Covers (Dance Music) Email to schedule your time slot for Saturday, April 10th 2021. We will provide you a time to be there, where you will perform a few tunes with the band. Each audition is approximately 15-20 minutes long, and will consist of the performance and a brief interview. Please do not be late for your audition, as we are scheduling everyone back to back to accommodate for the large amount of inquiries, and we want to provide everyone equal opportunity and amount of time to perform. We will provide a backline of bass/keyboard amplifiers and a fully equipped PA System, as well as keyboards themselves. You will have only a moment to set up, once your audition has begun, so please do come prepared and ready to play.
