Description

πŸ™πŸ» I'll take you to a place near the Wat Chai Chimplee Temple and share with you the morning ritual of alms. You'll participate in tak bat and learn how to give alms to monks. Tak bat means presenting food to a monk or Buddhist teacher. It’s an important part of our culture. Thai people give back to Buddhist monks, who in turn dedicate their lives to teaching others about being good and virtuous. It’s not charity in the Western sense. β € 🧘🏽 Then we'll go to the Chai Chimplee Temple Market and buy some food for cooking at home as I do usually. You'll see a vibrant life of Bangkok there. β € 🍲 We'll head to my home and I'll cook drunken noodles which we call "Pad Kee Mao". It is a part of our daily meals and you can easily cook it later by yourself. β € β›Ί You'll see my home and I'll share with your stories about the way we live here, Thai culture and our cuisine. β € About me. My name is Hnoi. I was born in Bangkok and lived in Portland and Seattle, USA. I'm passionate about cooking and traveling. One of my experiences was running a Thai restaurant for three years. Now I live in Bangkok. Welcome to Thailand virtually! https://fb.me/e/17E7KIofI
