Hypochondria is a condition in which a person becomes convinced they have some disease. Usually they become so convinced they have it that they see symptoms of it everywhere. Every cough, sneeze, and hiccup is seen as evidence that they have the disease they are convinced is inside them. Not only that, people can become so convinced that they have a disease that their bodies actually starts producing the symptoms of the disease they think they have (psychosomatic illnesses). Yes, you have some racists out there--a tiny fringe minority of people with little to no power, and nobody takes them seriously. Liberalism, collectively, are hypochondriacs, absolutely obsessed with racism, seeing symptoms of it everywhere, and our whole society is so caught up in it, that as a nation, we are now beginning to product psychosomatic symptoms of our obsession.
