Electrical Apprentice RI Immediate opening for full time Electrical Apprentice. The ideal candidate will have gone through a High School Trade Electrical program and have three or more years’ experience. The candidate must be willing to work various shifts, as the jobs require. We also require overtime regularly, often having the apprentices pick up supplies and set up materials, tools, and equipment on job or cleaning up at the end of a job. There will be time spent maintaining the shop organization, stocking the vans, and normal maintenance on equipment like scissor lifts. Must be able to work on ladders and or lifts. Must have good construction knowledge. Must be able to read floor plans. Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record. Must be able to pass a background check should our customers require it. We have a good record of accomplishment of putting candidates through the entire apprentice program through to passing the RI Electrical Exam and then the MA Exam. Job Requirements:. OSHA 10 or Greater Demonstrated safety record Basic Tools of the trade Valid Driver’s License and good driving record High School Diploma or GED American Tele-Connect Services, Inc. is a local, family owned business with 40 years in business serving the New England area and our customers.
