House Cleaning Twice a Month, Every Other Monday, $150 per day Our home is not large (rooms are relatively small), but is on three floors and some of the work is a bit heavy so strength and easy use of stairs is important. Your job will be to clean kitchen and three bathrooms thoroughly, vacuum, dust and polish furniture as needed in six other rooms (2 bedrooms, 2 studies, dining room and living room), vacuum carpeted stairs, clean and polish floors where not carpeted, change sheets in one bedroom, do minimal ironing (half hour at most), sweep back porch (a deck) when needed, occasionally polish silverware if time allows. We ask you not to play music or telephone others while here except in an emergency. Good comprehension of English is essential. Work day begins at 9 a.m. and normally takes 5 hours, not counting rest and lunch break. A car is necessary as there is no bus service. This job will begin soon after March 15 when our vaccination procedure will be complete. Interviews will be held prior to that time outside (with masks and social distancing).
