HIRING - Full-time Ranch Maintenance Assistant Needed!

Location: San Anselmo Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Duties: Assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of the estate including maintenance of buildings, grounds and infrastructure; assist with the heavy lifting, tilling and composting for the edible garden; maintain perimeter fencing, gravel driveways and perform general property upkeep; inspect the pool and fountains daily; tend to the ranch’s chickens and cats daily; operate, clean, fuel and maintain vehicles & equipment; provide additional support to maintain outdoor buildings; retrieve & distribute incoming mail and packages; assist with special event set-up and execution; be vigilant around fire safety and prevention Requirements: Recent experience in a similar role on a private estate with strong references, pitch-in team-player with personable and professional demeanor, ability to adapt, prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects, must have scheduling flexibility and ability to handle increased demands from time to time, experience with hand tools, power tools and shop equipment, responsible, organized, timely, dedicated, a can-do attitude, good verbal and written communication skills, good driving record, ability to operate heavy equipment such as a tractor, excavator, skidsteer, etc. is desirable, but not required. Must be comfortable with no smoking while working on the property. Position to start in Spring 2021.
