Man Arrested For Narcotics, Firearm Possession In Milton: Police

MILTON, MA — A man was arrested following a traffic stop in Milton early Monday morning on multiple drug and firearm possession charges, said Massachusetts State Police in a news release Tuesday. Miguel Tolentino, 30, of Roxbury, was pulled over on Route 138 at the intersection of Victoria Street by Trooper Thomas Shruhan for failing to have a front license place and active inspection sticker on his black Chevrolet Monte Carlo, said police. According to investigators, Tolentino had open containers of alcohol as well as many types of pills and a large amount of marijuana individually packaged inside the vehicle. He was detained in the back of a cruiser while Shruhan conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, Shruhan found 8.5 ounces of what he suspected to be marijuana, TCH edibles, a pill bottle contained what he suspected to be lorazepam, and approximately $340 in cash, said police. After he called for backup, additional troopers also found a loaded FMK 9mm pistol, a sword, and a bayonet. According to police, Tolentiono was transported to the Massachusetts State Police South Boston Barracks for booking and will be arraigned at Quincy District Court.
