Description
MILFORD, MA — Milford's favorite walking trail will get a boost in March from a grocery store fundraiser.
Starting Monday, the Milford Shaws, 93 Prospect St., will donate $1 from the sale of each reusable shopping bag purchased at the store to the Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail group.
The donations come from the sale of Give Back Where It Counts-labeled bags, which cost $2.50 each.
The Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail helps promote and maintain the walking and biking path, which spans 6-1/2 miles in town — and more than 13 miles from the parking lot along Route 85 in Milford to the end of the trail near Dopping Brook in Holliston.
