Description

MARBLEHEAD, MA — As Marblehead proceeds toward a possible ice rink in town, the committee charged with developing the plans for the rink is looking for additional public feedback. A virtual public forum with the Ice Rink Committee will be held on March 4 from 7 to 8 p.m. where the committee will update residents on the work to date and solicit feedback. The ice rink proposal is based on a generous gift to the town for the purpose of promoting winter sports activities. The Marblehead Board of Selectmen and the Parks and Recreation Commission formed the committee, which is working with an ice rink expert to assist in the feasibility, location and cost of a potential rink in town. The public forum is part of the Ice Rink Committee's efforts to keep residents involved in the planning. The Zoom link can be found here. Did you find this article useful?
