Helping Heal Hidden Wounds Golf Tournament benefiting the Sgt. Preston S Hartley PTSD Memorial Come out for a fun filled afternoon of golf, friendship and camaraderie while helping the Sgt Preston S Hartley PTSD Memorial raise money to assist Veteran with PTSD. Your registration includes a day of golf (2 players per cart) additional cart is 20.00 plus fees, food, drinks, free raffle ticket and fun. We will also be doing a hole in one contest, prize will be posted on Facebook event once determined. Come early, registration starts at 10:30am. Range balls are provided so you can get some swings in before play, we will also be providing a small box lunch before play! Required: Masks are required, Collared Shirts, Shoes (No Boots), Shorts okay just no cut offs. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Not Allowed : No Outside Coolers or alcohol allowed we will be providing drinks. You can bring water or Gatorade if you like just no cooler. The Mission of the Sgt. Preston S Hartley PTSD Memorial: To honor our veterans who struggle daily with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by helping them obtain a trained service dog, learn how to train their own pets, participate in Equine Therapy or find other organizations that can assist them managing PTSD. Recent scientific studies reveal clinically significant reductions in PTSD symptoms in veterans with service dogs and other therapies. These resources to help Veterans can cost thousands of dollars. Most veterans are unable to afford that amount. This is where we step in. We currently provide aid in Texas, working with groups that are certified to train service dogs, help teach those veterans who want to participate in training their current pets as service dogs, provide sponsorship for Equine Therapy. We are also working with other organizations assisting Veterans in Texas as discovered by our Veteran Liaisons in other communities. Helping Heal Hidden Wounds is what we do!
