ISLIP TERRACE, NY — A 29-year-old horse was rescued after getting stuck in the ice and mud in Islip Terrace on Tuesday, according to a report in News12. A group including the horse's owners, members of local rescue groups, and firefighters from the Islip Terrace Fire Department worked together to save the horse, News12 reports.
