SAN RAFAEL, CA — A new urgent care clinic will open in San Rafael next month. MarinHealth Urgent Care, a UCSF clinic, announced last week plans to open the new clinic at 4000 Civic Center Drive, Suite 206. The clinic will share a dedicated entrance and waiting room with MarinHealth's Outpatient Imaging Center (for X-rays). The clinic will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. "Our community has come to trust the expert clinical care that MarinHealth provides," MarinHealth CEO Dr. David G. Klein, Chief Executive Officer said in a statement. "This new, modern and conveniently-located Urgent Care Clinic will be a welcome and accessible expansion to the services we offer." Services at the clinic will include care for illnesses or injuries that require prompt attention but typically are not serious enough to require the services of an emergency department.
