Description

Find the Easter Egg yard signs around our neighborhood, snag some selfies, & show them off at the Prize Hub for a bag of treats! The hunt is on…the Waite Park Church community Easter Egg Hunt, that is! This year has been a crazy one with a lot of changed or cancelled plans, so we’re doing this year’s Easter Egg Hunt a little differently for the safety of the kids and families of our community and our neighbors and local businesses are getting in on the fun too! Here’s how it’s going to work: · On Saturday, April 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM, neighbors south of 37th Avenue NE and north of St. Anthony Parkway, east of Central Avenue and West of Stinson will put up official Easter Egg Hunt signs that we’ll provide in their yards. · Families will walk, bike, or drive throughout the neighborhood looking for and taking selfies with the signs they spot. · Kids who collect at least 10 selfies and show them off to our team at the Prize Hub (located in the parking lot of Waite Park Church) by 12 PM will get a treat bag filled with candy and other goodies, plus the opportunity to enter for a grand prize drawing! During the hunt, keep your eye out for a few extra special Easter Egg Hunt signs with logos from local businesses on them. If you take a selfie with one of them and present it at the Prize Hub, you can win a gift card to that business! (Quantities are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. But, if we’ve run out by the time your get to the Prize Hub, don’t worry! You’ll be entered into a gift card drawing where one lucky winner will get a gift card to each of the businesses participating in this year’s Easter Egg Hunt!) Keep up with the latest on our website or Facebook page. We can’t wait to see you there! Note: In light of the COVID-19 realities we still face, families will be encouraged to practice social distancing while taking selfies with signs throughout the neighborhood during the Easter Egg Hunt. Appropriate safety measures (masking, sanitizing, and distancing) will be in place at the Prize Hub in accordance with local and CDC guidelines at the time of the event to the greatest degree that is practically possible.
