We are looking to hire a knowledgeable pest control applicator/technician to help customers identify and eliminate various pest issues in the Greater San Diego Area. Job Description: * Inspecting customer's property and identifying current pest issues. * Determine the proper procedures to eradicate those current pest issues effectively. * Advising customers on their current pest issues. * Explain the process of treatment to the customer and what to expect. * Applying the suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures. * Responding to customer's requests for various pest control services. * Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products. * Being able to advise customers on the best action with regards to preventing future problems. * Being able to advise on IPM practices. Pest Control Technician Requirements: * Valid driver's license. * Clean driving record. * High School diploma or GED. * Clear applicator or branch II license. * Up to date on education and hours. * Must be able to pass a background check. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. * Ability to stand, walk, crouch and climb for long periods of time. * Positive attitude. * Punctuality and detail oriented. * Exceptional customer service skills. * Proven pest control experience. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Integrity. * Effective communication skills. * People skills. * Good hygiene and clean appearance. * Organizational skills. * Reliable transportation. * Ability to work in all weather conditions.
